Soccer kicks off again

THE Latrobe Valley Soccer League season will resume this weekend after a three-week break.

Scheduled home games for Fortuna and Traralgon City have been reversed because of damage caused by the floods. Moe United will be playing Monash on Saturday night from 8pm, while the rest of the round will be on Sunday from 2.30pm.Sale United will host Morwell Pegasus, which has been one of the surprise packets of the season so far.

The match of the round will be between Newborough-Yallourn United and Fortuna.
Churchill United and Traralgon City will meet for the 100th time in league football.
Traralgon Olympians will head to Bairnsdale to play East Gippsland United.
Falcons will have the bye.
