Ryan Seggerman won the men’s singles tennis tournament held over Memorial Day weekend at the Victoria Club in Riverside.
In the tournament finals, Seggerman defeated Miles Clark, 7-5, 6-1, winning $1,000, according to a news release. Clark won $500.
Barry Meier, Victoria Club president, presented the awards.
The tournament had a draw of 32 players, and the event also featured a raffle with prizes including a signed tennis ball from Fabio Fognini of Italy and Sloane Stephens from the United States. Proceeds went to the tennis program at Riverside Poly High School.
The Victoria Club, at 2521 Arroyo Drive, is a private club that offers tennis lessons, tennis clinics and pickleball. It also has a swimming pool and golf course.
Monty Montigel is the club’s tennis director.
