The three-match T20I series between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh has been brought forward, Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed on Monday (August 19).
The two boards have agreed to make minor changes to the schedule, following which the first T20I will be played on July 22, instead of July 23. The second and third T20I will be played on July 23 and July 25 in Harare. As per the original schedule, the T20I series was supposed to end only on July 27.
The changes were made in order to “address the scheduling and logistical challenges that the tour’s broadcast production company was facing,” according to a statement from ZC.
The two teams have so far played a solitary Test and two ODIs with Bangladesh winning all three of them. The third ODI will be played on Tuesday.
